Lee Marek's Chemistry Demonstrations: Exploding Ostrich Egg, Bed of Nails, and Other Basic Chemistry Demonstrations An explosive demonstration of the chemical and physical properties of hydrogen gas. Lee Marek fills an empty ostrich egg with hydrogen gas and then ignites the gas. Once the ratio of air to hydrogen gas reaches the proper proportions a large explosion occurs. Safety shields stop the sizable pieces of egg from impacting people and the camera. Note: RealPlayer 8 is required to view this chemical demonstration.

ChemTutor. Basic chemistry help is available here for high school or college students. Chemtutor begins with the fundamentals and gives expert help with the most difficult phases of understanding your first course in chemistry.

Virtual Chemistry Virtual Laboratory. This site is a three-dimensional simulated laboratory for the teaching of chemistry. This laboratory contains interactive multimedia experiments. The student is able to move around the lab in a web browser window and choose to take part in experiments that are distributed around this virtual lab.

Math Medley
Math Medley is a weekly call-in talk radio show, hosted by Pat Kenschaft from the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Montclair State University. Each show features an interview with a guest discussing a topic with an underlying theme of mathematics such as education, parenting, equity, or the environment.
